Your Faith…Has Brought Healing

I am thankful for you and your faith. You have shown it to FAME through your interest, your involvement, and your investment in the work of FAME’s global partners around the world. I’ve asked Jeff Coon, FAME Director of Development to share more with you in this email.

The book of Matthew is astonishing. Read it and count how many sick people Jesus healed—it’s remarkable. Teaching the good news and healing: that’s what He did even when He wasn’t looking people were healed, they sought to simply touch the fringe of His garment—and all who touched Him were made well (Matt. 14:36).

One woman thought, “If I just touch His garments, I’ll be healed.” Immediately she was. Jesus found her and said, “Your faith has made you well.”

I’m also moved by the story of the four friends who carried their paralyzed friend to Jesus, digging through a roof to place him before the Lord. Scripture records that Jesus saw their faith and He forgave and healed the paralytic because of the faith of those who brought him to Jesus.”

YOU bring people to Jesus for healing every time you show interest, get involved, and invest in the work of FAME. Your faith is making people well. Thank you!

But may I encourage you on another level?

Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever. It was His will to heal then, and it is His desire to heal now. Jesus cares about you as well—and so do we at FAME. Thousands hear the gospel and receive compassionate care in His name every day because of you. But perhaps you also need to “touch” His garment for healing. May FAME staff and I pray for you? If so, please send your requests to prayer@fameworld.org

Last week I spoke with one of your FAME partners in Africa. He told me of a man who came to their clinic with symptoms they couldn’t diagnose. They prayed for him. The following week he returned and asked, “Who did you pray to last week? Whoever He is—He healed me.”

Thank you for your partnership with FAME. Your faithful interest, involvement, and investment in medical evangelism is changing lives. And thank you for trusting FAME to pray for your health as we impact the world together. – Jeff Coon

1 Clinic, 2 Years, 60,000 People

This is why your partnership with FAME has such a great impact.

Every one of your FAME partners is actively involved in evangelism and deeply connected to local churches and church planters. Last week, I met with one such partner from Asia. The spokesperson began by saying:
I want to start by thanking FAME! In the last two years since the clinic (provided through your generosity to FAME) opened, more than 60,000 people have been treated, and heard the Word of God.

He went on to explain:
These are not people you would expect us to reach. These are people who do not want to hear about Jesus. They avoid Jesus. They oppose Jesus. But something has happened in their lives and they need help, and they have turned to the clinic YOU helped provide.

This clinic is only one of several operated by this partner, who has served faithfully in this community for decades. The national government is openly anti-Christian, yet the village leaders themselves have told our partners:
No other religions are doing this. This favor in the community is part of medical evangelism.

This same spirit of frontline compassion and evangelism is exactly what makes our Giving Tuesday project in Mae Sot, Thailand so urgent and so promising. The only other source of compassionate medical care for the refugees is another clinic you helped provide, but it is a long walk away, and the number of refugees is overwhelming. The new clinic you help build will become their place of hope, just like the clinic that reached 60,000 people in just two years.

Your partnership builds clinics where the gospel can go where it otherwise never would.
Your generosity opens doors no one else can open.
And together, we can make Mae Sot the next place where thousands encounter both healing and the love of Christ.

Thank you for being part of the mission.

You Say “Yes”and the Gospel Reaches Villages That Say “No”

Meet Mat — a student who faced persecution, but brought the Gospel home.

When you partner with FAME, you stand with the persecuted and the bold.

Mat*, a student at a Bible Institute, became a Christian in a country where it is against the law to share the Gospel in non-Christian villages. He met Christ through a FAME partner involved in medical relief, video ministry, and church planting.

After his conversion and Bible training, Mat’s family was barred from using the community well and from buying essentials in local shops. For months, they were ostracized from society. Yet through it all, they stood firm in faith and never lost their zeal for the Lord.

Mat has now returned to his home village. What began as a small gathering in his family’s home has grown into a church of twelve families worshipping together — a new light in a dark place. This transformation began with a FAME partner who used medical evangelism to open doors where the Gospel cannot be openly shared.

The vulnerable. The persecuted. The refugees. The trafficked. The oppressed.

These are the people you help when you partner with FAME — through courageous believers like Mat who never stop sharing God’s love.

That’s why this Giving Tuesday, we’re partnering with Asia Christian Services and Rapha International to build a clinic that will serve refugees, safe house residents, and their surrounding community in Southeast Asia.

Follow FAME on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn for updates — and keep your eyes out for stories about this clinic about how you can double a gift already received!

Thank you for saying “Yes!” to FAME!

One Wound at a Time

Sometimes, the most life-changing miracles begin with something as simple as a roll of gauze.

At the clinic at Del Corazón de Jesucristo on the island of the Dominican Republic, Dr. Leslie and her team care for patients who are suffering from serious infections and chronic wounds. Recently, she wrote to tell us that five of her patients now come regularly for ongoing wound-care treatment—one is a young man fighting a painful infection, another is an amputee whose healing depends on careful daily care.

When Dr. Leslie’s supplies ran dangerously low, she prayed for help. And because of your partnership with FAME, boxes of desperately needed wound-care materials—bandages, antiseptic dressings, wraps, and gloves arrived just in time.

One of her patients, the young man in the photo below, was in danger of losing his leg. Infection had set in, and each day mattered. With the new supplies, the clinic team cleaned, dressed, and wrapped his wound properly. Today he is healing—step by step—because you cared enough to send what he needed most.

Your generosity is not just delivering supplies; it’s delivering hope, dignity, and the love of Christ to people who might otherwise be forgotten.

Thank you for helping FAME equip clinics like the one at Del Corazón to bring healing to both body and soul—one wound, one patient, one life at a time.

Thank you for your partnership!
