Yvonne, who walked 20km each way for her prenatal care, gave her life to the Lord after being ministered to by a FAME partner featured at this year’s Night of Hope Banquet. Yvonne is a young Mother from a very humble family with very meager income. Her husband is a day worker doing the best he can to provide for their family. Yvonne, who began her prenatal care at the Dispensary, would visit the facility every month for regular checkups.
Our mission partner writes, On each of those visits, a seed of God’s love would be planted in her heart, this was from the way she was handled, the love shown, the care given and the word of God shared. Eventually when she gave birth to her baby girl, she gave her life to Christ. Because she comes from a distant place from the Clinic, she joined a Church nearby her home to grow in the Lord. We remain grateful to God, for because of the work done by the Dispensary, a soul was brought to the Kingdom.
The Night of Hope Banquet will be raising funds for the “Yes! Fund,” with one of the key goals for the evening being to help purchase a new medical van to support travel for patients like Yvonne.
If you can attend, you will experience:
- A Live Painting during the evening which will be in the Silent Auction
- Over 100 items from around the world in the Silent Auction
- Amazing Stories of Impact from in person guests (Earl Haubner-Brazil, Nathan and Justie Wingfield-Malawi, and Hope Gerber-Guatemala
- A Delicious Italian Dinner
- And much more!
Seeds of Hope planted like they were for Yvonne will be told over and over again.
Thank you for your partnership!

home at 2 a.m. and endure a three-hour bus ride to the city, where they would often wait in line for 12 hours or more before Jibrilu could be seen by the medical staff. The costs of travel and lodging were placing a significant strain on Jibrilu’s family, who relied on street vending for income Before there was a cardiology clinic, the FAME partner there covered much of the cost of travel for the family and cared for them physically and spiritually.
Nation’s capital (Accra) for surgery. After surgery, the great news is that Jason is now doing great!! Praise the Lord!! CLT believes these miraculous stories will only continue to increase as the clinic grows.

A FAME partner recently requested essential medical supplies for a Cardiology Clinic in Kyiv, Ukraine—a region still facing war, hardship, and uncertainty. In this crisis, cardiovascular care remains a critical need, but some vital medical devices, like vascular endoprostheses, are unavailable in this part of Ukraine.

As you probably know, FAME is committed to making sustainable decisions and engaging in activities that foster long-term impact. What that means is that every funding decision FAME makes to help our global partners is done in a way that avoids creating dependency on FAME. And success story after success story can be told of global partners who are now independent and fully run by nationals. FAME grants are designed to accelerate a global partner’s ability to spread the gospel through medical evangelism.
If you’d like to give to the Yes! Fund to help with emergency needs, you can make a note of that with any gift you give, whether online or through the mail.

Maybe you should consider going on a FAME trip! The need is for NON-medical and medical trip participants on every team.
were sleeping and very sick in bed with her when the dad and husband returned from working many hours walk away from them. He immediately ran many miles to the clinic and I’m glad to report that the response was one of love. The dad didn’t have to wait in line, schedule an appointment, wait for the scheduling department to call back with available appointments….. A nurse immediately traveled with the father bringing antibiotics with her and both children and mother had turned the corner by evening.
