Host Mission: Remember the Children

We are going to Tanzania!

We will serve in partnership with Remember the Children Tanzania and the newly opening medical clinic in Tabora, Tanzania.  The clinic is adjacent to “House of Love” church, which ministers integral support and care to this community.

Medical and non-medical participants seeking to serve and utilize their unique skills, gifts, and talents are needed on this team.

We will host general care clinics in the community and expect larger patient populations in women’s health, pediatrics, pre- & post-natal care. Additionally, in the newly opening clinic, there is potential for training local staff in the use of X-Ray and other equipment.

Medical outreaches open doors for our Tanzanian hosts to engage in personal relationships with those who come to receive treatment.  Through these relationships, the good news of Jesus can be shared, and ultimately lives will be transformed.

We desire to provide medical care as a vessel for the power of the gospel. We seek to encourage and build up our brothers and sisters in Tanzania in a way that shines light on the reality of God’s glory in Christ and to be transformed in that same reality.

Come join us as we take a FAME team to Mexico! We are very excited to be partnering with WWHO (World Wide Hispanic Outreach) to serve at their clinic in La Biznaga, Mexico.

We are seeking medical professionals such as Physicians, Nurses, PAs, NPs, Physical Therapists, Pharmacists, Dentists, and Optometrists in addition to the need for non-medical participants on this team. We will be treating patients through a series of medical outreaches into the neighboring communities.

Treating the basic health needs of people who will come seeking treatment is one of the ways our team can be used in ministry. In addition, we hope to provide preventative health education that speaks to the specific health needs of the patient,

Medical outreaches open doors for our Mexican hosts to engage in personal relationships with those who come to receive treatment from our team. Through those relationships, the good news of Jesus can be shared, and ultimately lives will be transformed. Our ultimate goal is to bring glory to God in all that we do while serving in Mexico! Our hosts need encouragement as they serve the Lord each and every day in some pretty challenging conditions. We want to join them as co-workers in the ministry they have been called to do. This experience is exciting, challenging, fulfilling, emotional, and most importantly, humbling.

Come join us as we take FAME teams to Colombia! We will be treating patients through a series of medical outreaches into the neighboring communities and in the local clinic.

Our host congregation in Colombia is Casa Firme (established house) in the barrio of Las Flores in Barranquilla, Colombia.

Treating the basic health needs of people who will come seeking treatment is one of the ways our team can be used in ministry.  In addition, we hope to provide preventative health education that speaks to the specific health need of the patient.

Medical outreaches open doors for our Colombian hosts to engage in personal relationships with those who come to receive treatment from our team.  Through those relationships, the good news of Jesus can be shared, and ultimately lives will be transformed.

Our ultimate goal is to bring glory to God in all that we do while serving in Colombia!  Our hosts need encouragement as they serve the Lord each day in some pretty challenging conditions.  We want to join them as co-workers in the ministry they have been called to do.

This team will join the efforts of the staff of New Life Mission Hospital in providing healthcare teaching/training of nationals and local residents. Hands-on medical care for patients needing treatment will also be offered.  All efforts will advance the ministry of NLMH in reaching out to people for Christ.

We are excited to offer this experience to Milligan’s PA program and their students. We will be treating patients through a series of medical outreaches into the neighboring communities and in the local clinic in Narok.

Treating the basic health needs of people who will come seeking treatment is one of the ways our team can be used in ministry. Come join the medical mission of FAME on a trip to the Amazon!  We will be serving with Central Brazil Mission (CBM) on a 1-week boat trip along the breathtaking Amazon River.

Come aboard the “Frances Ann” and enjoy the beauty along the way as we dock at multiple remote villages along the river and treat patients experiencing both physical and spiritual needs.

Patients will make their way on board the boat to be seen by medical professionals on the team.  Medical professionals will diagnose and treat the patient’s illness while non-medical participants will take blood pressures, temperatures, height and weight of all patients, and teach a health education lesson to all patients waiting to be seen by the physician.  Non-medical participants will also engage in activities and games with children from the village.  Haircuts and manicures are also a way to build a friendship with someone of any age.  Everyone will experience the love of Christ through you!

Accommodations on the boat include air-conditioned sleeping rooms or you may want to experience sleeping in a Brazilian hammock on the upper deck!  A refreshing shower, clothes washer, and meals are all provided on the boat.

This is an amazing experience you won’t want to miss!
