Orphans to Grandmothers, from Medicine to Ministry

As we approach Memorial Day weekend, we at FAME are reminded not only of the sacrifices made for our freedom, but also of the faithful legacy of generosity and hope that you help extend around the world. Your support makes it possible for us to bring healing in the name of Jesus to those who need it most like this beautiful story from the Village of Hope Orphanage, one of our ministry partners:

JA, a young girl placed in the orphanage by government recommendation, has found family and belonging there. Earlier this year, a Village of Hope-sponsored medical evangelism outreach was held in Getafe, just west of the orphanage. Among the patients that day was JA’s grandmother, a chronic smoker suffering from serious lung issues.

After her examination, we provided her with a Ventolin inhaler—something she desperately needed but never imagined she could afford. She was stunned and deeply grateful.

But her healing wasn’t just physical.

As our team shared the power of the Gospel, JA’s grandmother was moved and believed. That moment has sparked a new Bible study in her community, and we are now praying it becomes the foundation for a new church in Getafe—a town where no churches currently exist.

This is the impact of your partnership.

From orphans to grandmothers, from medicine to ministry—you are a part of the story God is writing through FAME. And this Memorial Day, you have the opportunity to make that story even more powerful with a gift that honors the life of someone you love.

To make a special gift this weekend, please visit www.fameworld.org/donate and add the name of a loved one to your memorial or honor gift in the Tribute Section.

Thank you for your faithfulness, your prayers, and your heart for the nations.
